Staff Cop has the following monitoring and security functions:

• StaffCop gives you screenshots to find out what your employee is doing at the moment.
• Obtains a list of currently running programs.
• Gives you the list of currently open web sites - if any web sites are open, StaffCop will provide you with their titles and URLs.
• Remote agent installation - you can install the StaffCop agents on all of your local network's computers without even leaving your workstation.
• Automatic periodic data saving (screenshots, web sites). Even if the client part is turned off, you still may find this helpful for modeling an employee's workday scenario.
• Internet Activity history - Many people, knowing that they can be monitored, knowingly delete history of visited web pages with MS Internet Explorer's "Clear History" button; but StaffCop maintains a separate - protected - list of visited web sites.
• Complete analysis of the information gathered by an agent (screenshots, internet activity history, application operation history) at any time;
• Stealth mode - user does not notice StaffCop running on their computer.
• Report wizard will help you analyze the performance of a particular employee or a group of employees for any time span. For any given day you can view the programs your employee ran, the time they were run at, and how long each program was active. You can view the time spreadsheet (in hours and percentages) by the programs that were run, by one user or a group for any time span (one or several days, a week, a month, etc.)

Staff ALSO monitors USB Port activity! StaffCop logs the use of USB devices, recording the name of the device and the time of connection or disconnection. This is a great feature not found on many other network monitoring software programs. Data thieves often use USB ports and data sticks to steal sensitive company information.
